Alex Riley entered into Royal Rumble 2012 match as #2 entrant but eliminated by his former boss Miz.

2011
He involved in falls count anywhere match between Miz and Morrison but seriously injured by Morrison and then went to backstage for emergency medical treatment at January 3 Raw event.
He joined Raw commentators as special guest commentator for Champion Vs Champion match between Daniel Bryan and The Miz and shared his happiness after that match in February 14 Raw event.

In September 27 Raw, he teamed up with his rookie Miz and faced John Morrison and Daniel Bryan in a tag team match and also successfully won that match but he was seriously injured by both challengers after that match.

He and his Pro Miz attacked U.S Champion from behind at Survivor Series pay per view. Day after Survivor Series i.e November 21 Raw edition, he participated in a king of the ring qualifying match instead of Miz because Miz was suffered with inside pain problem but defeated by Ezekiel Jackson. However his Pro Miz become new WWE Champion and shared his happiness after that match.

At November 29 Raw event, he proudly talked about his Pro Miz’s glorious victory last night and would like to celebrate new WWE Champion’s victory in a party and promised all wrestling fans we will have a awesome Monday night Raw.
